North Palm Junior Lifeguards

2022 Junior Lifeguards of North Palm  will consist of a  6 weeks series  meeting every Wednesday from June 1st through July 13th from 9:00am-3:00pm. This 6 weeks series will include the same  Monday through Friday progression of ocean behavior, awareness and safety education along with  the fun listed below that we have at our Jensen Beach Summer Camp. In addition, a key focus on preparing our junior lifeguard for the USLA Junior Lifeguard Regional Championship in Martin County July 23rd.

 Knowledge and Skills Training:

•  Ocean behavior, situational awareness and safety education 
• CPR/AED and First-AID
• Daily Physical Skills: Morning Workout- stretch, run, and open water swim. 
• USLA Jr. Lifeguard Fun Competition (junior lifeguards can compete in beach sports locally, regionally, nationally and internationally)
•  Oceanography and Environmental Lessons 
• Water sports introduction: Open Water Swimming, Bodysurfing, Bodyboarding, Prone Paddling and Surfing.
